Samantha Leger, Ph.D, RPP MCIP

I am a post-doctoral fellow with the University of Toronto, who recently completed a PhD in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo.

My research interests revolve around mobility justice and designing inclusive streetscapes. In 2025, I finished my PhD thesis, entitled Mindful Streets, which focused on exploring the everyday mobility practices and tactics performed by neurodivergent people and how planners can accommodate neuro-inclusive transportation practices and policies into their work.
